EMS World publisher and EMS World Expo organizer Scott Cravens took some of his precious time to sit down with Jamie Davis, the Podmedic and EMS Garage host Chris Montera, the Geekymedic in the ProMed Network podcast studio. Scott, Chris and Jamie chatted about the previous three days at EMS World Expo including some of the challenges faced by attendee travel delays associated with the East Coast arrival of Hurricane Sandy that same week.
The three also looked forward to EMS World Expo 2013, back in Las Vegas, Nevada. With new and exciting changes each year at the expo, Scott promised some interesting updates to the conference to support both attendees and vendors in the exhibit hall. Jamie and Chris both talked about the fifth anniversary of their coverage of EMS World Expo from the podcast studio coming up next year.
This episode recorded in the Physio-Control sponsored Podcast Studio at EMS World Expo 2012 in New Orleans.
The ProMed Network podcast team closes their Finale Episode from EMS World Expo 2011 with part 2 MedicCast / EMS Garage combo closing episode. Anne Robinson, Carissa O’Brien and MedicCast host Jamie Davis comes up on stage to join Chris Montera in the Podcast Studio (sponsored by the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation).
Anne Robinson, the ProMed Network executive producer, shares her EMS World Expo 2011 product innovator pick with the ICE (Interchangeable Cooling Environment) system for provider and responder rehab in hot environments. Find out more about this cooling system at EMSInnovations.com.
Also joining Chris for part of this segment of the Finale is from the Philadelphia Fire Academy who discusses the recently released EMS White Paper on developing an international paramedic certification standard. This standard is needed to help providers from around the world use their education in a variety of systems and communities world wide.
Finally, Chris, Jamie and Carissa welcome EMS World publisher Scott Cravens up on the Podcast Studio stage to look back at this year’s expo’s successes and to look forward to what’s expected for next year’s EMS World Expo 2012 in New Orleans.
The ProMed Network’s EMS programs are already tentatively scheduled to be in attendance at that show, covering the event again next year. We hope you will join us there live and if you are not able to do so, sit back and watch our coverage from wherever you are!
